I, Spy – 30 September – 11 October
We’re looking for brave and clever kids to train and become the next set of elite Air Force Museum spies! Come are learn about codes, create different spy gadgets, and practice your spy skills.
This school holidays we have two week-long supervised programmes looking at the tools and skills of spies.
Week 1 (30 Sep – 4 Oct) focuses on creating a Spy Kit and learning how to use different codes and ciphers. You’ll create a new tool and learn a new code every day!
Week 2 (7 – 11 Oct) focuses on developing spy skills like observation, using a radio, and getting through an obstacle course. No two days are the same!
Children will exercise their creative energy and brain power while learning about different codes and ciphers, creating their own spy gadgets, and practicing all the skills they will need to become Air Force Museum spies.
Bookings are essential with places limited to 20 children each day – you can book below using our booking engine.
How it works
- Runs on weekdays, 30 September – 11 October 2024.
- Drop-off 8:30am – Pick-up 3:00pm.
- Daily bookings welcome.
- If registering for the week there is a 10% discount.
- Two age groups: 5-year-olds to 8-year-olds. 9-year-olds to 12-year-olds.
- 20 children max per day.
- NO half day bookings.
- We offer a daily structured programme throughout the week with a focus on creativity and learning new skills.
- Daily warm up games for all children to enjoy, so they get to know the museum and their fellow holiday programme friends.
- Free play times throughout each day to allow children to relax or have more physical fun.
- Set times for breaks and lunchtimes.
- Bring your own water bottle, snacks, and lunch.
- Parents’ Handbook will be available on booking.
If the holiday programme isn’t for you please don’t forget we’re open 364 days a year, we’re free and there is a ton for the kids to do with us.

- Our Museum Hunts are a great way to explore the Museum together – $5 per hunt
- Take the controls of the Mosquito Simulator – $8.00 for one ticket and $6 for subsequent tickets

Entry to the Museum is free. We are open every day, except Christmas Day (25 December), from 9.30am – 4.30pm.
